History
PIKEVILLE After the war of 1812, 30 acres of land was purchased for the town of Pikeville. Pikeville was incorporated as a town in 1830. After 1850, territory from Bledsoe County was taken to form parts of Cumberland and Sequatchie counties. Pikeville is an incorporated city and has a mayor-alderman form of government.
